What does the Judgement Tarot Card mean?

Knight of Pentacles Tarot Card Meaning

Element: Earth

Function: Belongings, wealth, tangible objects, practicality

A knight in shining white armor looks determined as he holds his pentacle and his black horse. They are facing east with the horse’s reins in one hand and the pentacle in the other. Both the horse and knight wear red, a symbol of passion. The black horse is a color of seriousness.

In the distance, we can see plowed fields. The seeds have been planted and all that is left is to take care of them. This is a sign of new life and possibilities for the knight. The Page of Pentacles showed the dream of a goal and now the Knight shows us the inspiration and those first necessary steps. The knight is taking action and shows his commitments to making his wishes and dreams come true.

The Knight knows that the journey will be long, and he prepares for this. It may seem as if the Knight wants someone to test him so that he can prove his abilities. He is convinced of his strength and courage, but this we can’t be sure of.

The man may well be stubborn as he stands over and watches his fields, determined to watch the fruit grow. On his horse’s forehead, there is a sprig of oak, representing resilience and courage. The Knight is looking into the unknown and he will need his bravery. There could be someone who wants to challenge him or there may even be elements that he can’t control, there is no way he can protect his crop from the weather.

So, this card is all about the will to succeed but to the point of being stubborn. No matter what challenges the journey brings, you must be determined to stick to the path. This card represents the choices we make and how we must then stick to them. After all, know that he has chosen his plot and planted the seeds, he must wait. The Page had a dream, the Knight commits to it.

It is also a sign of due diligence, perhaps to an obsessive amount so that you are missing out on the fun in life. The focus is intense and practical. He is incredibly serious, and others may find this too much.

When Reversed:

You might be finding those first steps difficult. You are missing the motivation and concentration you need to plant that first seed. You may not have the resources that are required or it could be that your head is in the clouds and you aren’t up to the hard work that this goal is going to take. Your attention might be on impressing others instead of focusing on seeing the job through.

The sound of a dream or a goal is amazing as is succeeding, but once the work begins, the reality may kick in. You might feel discouraged when those around you don’t have the same levels of enthusiasm as you so. You are seeking motivation from places and when others who may be envious of your potential success criticize you, you listen to them.

You may have been in charge of something in the past, or you were loyal and dedicated. You might find that you will benefit from the same experience now. It would be worth finding your motivation by looking back at these experiences.

It is likely that there will be a younger person who provides you with inspiration, particularly if you feel like you ¡r life is rather mundane at the moment. This might be someone who joins an activity you participate in. They might do better than you at that stage, but you shouldn’t let this upset you.

Your near future will be structured and logical. You probably have plans you want to follow to get to your goals and if you follow your plans, you will succeed. Try to help other people, even if this throws a little spanner in your plans.
