What does the Judgement Tarot Card mean?

Nine of Pentacles Tarot Card Meaning

Element: Earth

Function: Belongings, wealth, tangible objects, practicality

A woman is in a garden that is brimming with grapevines, plump grapes and nine pentacles in the leaves. Behind the garden, we can see a range of mountains representing strength and stability. The grapes are a sign of richness, plenty, and life.

The woman is wearing a yellow cloak, the color of intellect, and the red rosebuds show us passion and magic that hasn’t been realized yet. Her passion is completely under control, much like the falcon that rests on her gloved hand. Her mind and spirit are under control, but just with the falcon and her passion, can be released whenever she wants.

What the woman has is because of her control. Because she can control her mind, energy and determination, she is able to direct her powers to create abundance and therefore, she has all that she wants. What she has achieved is more than rising up from poverty.

There is a very tiny snail crawling towards the woman. The snail sends mixed signals. The spiral on its shell points to cycles of expansion, but the snail will eat what the is making the woman so happy and so is also a sign of destruction and a reminder that our material goods won’t necessarily last forever. And, it doesn’t have to be something large that will take this away from you. The woman may be relaxed, u she is still aware of the potential danger, though this will not limit her enjoyment. She is happy with what she has earned, and she knows that she has to enjoy this moment.

For now, the Nine of Pentacles suggests that you should relax and enjoy this time. You have grown and created something wonderful and it won’t be around forever, so make the most of it. If you put this moment off, you may miss out on it.

It might also suggest that you might have to go out and achieve things by yourself if you want to receive the benefits. If you are keen to invest your time and effort, you will learn that victory is sweeter when you get there by yourself, but nobody is going to just give it to you.

When Reversed:

It is possible that you are waiting for other people to create things in your life or you depend on the due diligence and skills of others to provide the wealth. It could also mean that you are struggling to find self-control and you steer clear of things that could actually drive you forward.

In this position, the Nine of Pentacles might be warning you of regret. Maybe you aren’t enjoying what has come about from your hard work. Instead of worrying so much that you won’t have enough in the future, you showed keep your attention on the present, enjoy what you have today before it is all gone.

It could be that your parents were well off and you were slightly spoilt as a child. This might be having an impact now and you might struggle to understand how those less fortunate feel. This should lead you to feel grateful for your upbringing.

Be aware of buying new things or following new trends because you are bored. It’s not necessary to feel complete. You need to understand the need to buy something, use it and then stop. Rather than letting your spontaneity encourage you to buy more things, you will be better packing up and taking yourself off to explore.

This is a very positive card and you may well have your dream come true ending. You should be feeling hopeful, and look forward to a bright, fulfilling future. Maybe you will achieve all of your goals, perhaps you will learn how to prioritize them better.
