A confident man stands holding his wand, looking at it with pride and amazement at its potential power, perhaps marveling at creative abilities. He stands in the middle of a desert, but this does not phase him. He is wearing a white hat, the color of purity and innocence. His yellow and red cloak are the colors of a higher mind, and passion and magic, respectively. The salamanders on his tunic are a symbol of magic, as well as the power of fire.

This man will begin his path and he has a ton of ideas on what he can do and how he intends to do it. Nevertheless, there is nothing set in motion just yet. It is likely that he has no idea of how to bring his ideas into reality. In some ways, he is like the Fool from the Major Arcana cards. He is young, strong, energetic, and has the bravery that normally only the youth or naive experience.

Being alone, the page has nobody to tell him what to do. There is nobody to comfort or impress and he doesn’t need to seek anybody’s approval. He doesn’t need anybody else. He is in love with his ability to create and develop ideas. If people were to tag along with him, he would only feel frustrated and they would distract him.

The page of Wands is creativity personified. It shows that you are able to be creative and do something fresh. This card implies you need to discover your own unique path to get what you want and don’t be afraid to do it alone. There is no need to be concerned about other people. It is a clear sign that you should follow your heart and go for it.

It might also be a sign that you need to go about things alone and not to be worried if there is no one else to help you. Right now, it’s more than likely that you don’t need help. If you do need assistance, you will be able to find it along the way.

When Reversed:

You could be experiencing a creative block because you are scared to be alone or you are scared of how angry others might be. It might be that you are just scared about an uncertain future. In this position, the Page of Wands is telling you that you are not going to get a different result if you keep doing the same thing over again.

It might also mean that your creative block is due to too much self-criticism. You want to create something new but essentially, you are sabotaging your own efforts. Don’t listen to the side of you that feels like you can’t do it. You need to push forward and do it.

This is a good card to receive and probably means you about to get some good news. If you are looking for something fresh in life, you will soon do something unforgettable. A big life change could mean that you have just reached your destination. Remember to continue you with your passions.
