What does the Judgement Tarot Card mean?

Three of Wands Tarot Card Meaning

Element: Fire

Function: Will, activity, Imagination, Beginnings

There is a man standing between three wands on a small heap of land. The land is sparse but has slightly more life to it than the sea and mountains ahead. As he looks out ahead, we wonder if his gaze falls on the mountain, or what lies beyond.

His clothes are of the color of life, red and green. Over his cloak, he has a yellow and black checkered band, similar to what you would find at a racetrack. Though his journey ahead doesn’t look to be a nice one, he is determined to move off of his heap.

It would seem that many have failed the same journey he is about to take. Ships float in the sea of dirt. But this doesn’t put him off and he won’t fall into the same trap. He has all that he needs inside of him. If he requires more, he will find it along his path.

Rather than planning for the right moment, the Three of Wands knows that his road will be challenging as so he becomes strong enough to handle it. Against all odds, this man will find the will and the courage to achieve his goal.

This man is lacking the globe that the man in the Two of Wands had, and so he doesn’t know what is ahead of him. He will need faith in his own vigor to survive.

This card shows that things are going to take place regardless of anything else. If you draw this card, it means that there is no point in staying where you are and that it is crucial for you to move forward now. But this is a good thing, you are excited about finding bigger and better things ahead of you.

Because life is so barren where you stand, figuratively speaking, the only way is up. Perhaps your new path starts with nothing or even nothing to lose. Your only option is to move forward.

When Reversed:

You might be too scared to get yourself out of this lifeless situation. Or perhaps you have taken the first steps but without direction. It might also mean that you have wandered off your path, but you haven’t created a plan to get to where you want to go if you even know where that is. Your path is lacking illumination.

You fear could be caused by not knowing what lies ahead, and that it is safer to stay put with what you are comfortable with, even if that is a bad situation. However, by moving forward, you may be able to appreciate a greener side to life.

It is also possible that you are moving forward but only for the sake of moving forward. You are not happy about leaving behind what made you feel safe.

It is likely that you were cautious in a past event. You weren’t hasty but instead, you took some necessary time to weigh up all of the options. This probably involved you showing great responsibility and maturity.

You are going to begin something new. To fully reap the rewards, don’t rush in too quickly and be prepared to commit yourself. This is more so if you or a loved one is applying for a job with the potential to advance.

You shouldn’t just focus on the money. You will have a wonderful life with lots of happiness if you can find a way to tap into your creativity now. It is important that you aim to reach your full potential.
