What does the Judgement Tarot Card mean?

World Tarot Card Meaning

The cards have come to a complete circle of the world and the end of a significant full cycle with the World. We began with the Fool stepping over the edge of the world and now we have found peace. There is a woman in the middle of the card. She carries a baton, the same as that of the Magician and other leaders. She is walking to the right but looks back to the left and all that she is leaving behind.

She floats in the air, surrounded by a laurel wreath, a symbol of cosmic wisdom and harmony. The red ribbon at the top of the wreath shows that the universe around us is tied together by magic. The walk into infinity is a celebration.

There are four symbols, one in each corner. The angel’s head, the ox, the eagle, and the lion, the four Gospels and signs of the zodiac. Together, they represent completion and stability.

If you receive the World card, it points to your completing something successfully, more often than not, something within you. It may represent a worldly success, but it is more likely to be a sign that you have passed an important milestone or that mentally, you have matured. It often points to a new phase of life, perhaps a marriage, birth, graduation or completion of studies, or a new job.

You may have been through something quite serious which has encouraged your growth and less you to victory. You have become stronger and wiser, more prepared for the next phase. What you finish or achieve, will have an internal effect and change you for the better. You have come a long way from the person you used to be.

It could also suggest that you are broadening your horizons, getting further education or traveling abroad. You make take up learning something that opens your mind to new things. A new person may come into your life who will not only show you a new world, but also one that is more suitable for you. This card can indicate that you have a happy marriage or other close relationship.

When Reversed:

The World upturned frequently suggests missed opportunities. You had a chance to succeed but you were either reluctant to take it or you didn’t see it. Mentally, you might feel stuck and your hard efforts are reversing.

There may be something in your life that is not complete, and this prevents you from moving forward. You might be afraid, have doubts, or you are unable to concentrate. You may fear success and what it will imply. This will be more relevant if your success leads you to the higher competition but less gain.

It could be that there is another person in your life that is holding you back and stopping you from completing things. You will need to be patient here.

Past:

You have experienced a personal uprising or achieved something enormous. This moment in your life will have laid the foundations for what you choose to do next.

Present:

This is a time of triumph for you and you are reaping the rewards of your diligence and efforts. It could be that you are taking a necessary break rather than planning the next phase.

Future:

Success is in your future. This is the most positive position to receive the World card. If you can stay on track, your life will be full of great things.

Yes/No Question:

Your question will lead to a yes.
